Overview
Imagine this:
After a quick shuffle of your blue deck of cards, you turn the deck face up and spread through the cards allowing the spec to choose a card from the face up spread. You tell them to check out the card and make sure it is totally normal.
You then have them fold up the card into quarters and sign their name ALL over the face of the card. No denying this is THEIR card. Then you take their card, set the deck aside and tear out a corner of the card for them to keep as a receipt of their card with their signature.
Plain as day you have 3/4 of THEIR blue back signed card in your hand. Now here's the crazy part: At this point with no switches or funny moves you turn the 3/4 card so the back is facing them and VISUALLY change the back from BLUE to RED one piece at a time! You can even stop after each piece and show that it is indeed THEIR card with their signature and all.
Show the back, show the face, show it all. Want to hear something even more amazing? Directly after the change you hand the 3/4 card right to the spec, no funny moves, no nothing you just hand it right to them. They can even grab it right out of your hands.
They hold their "receipt" up to the 3/4 card and see that everything matches! The tear matches, the signature matches, even the back design matches! This is ALL examinable, no joke. They can even keep the card as a souvenir of this miracle that happened right in front of their eyes.

Dan Harlan's Pack Small, Play Big
Overview
The "Mentalism Show" performed on this video is suitable for mature teens and adults; young children may not understand some of the concepts.
First, Harlan's original "37 Across" immediately gets everyone's attention with its impossible premise and the performer's uncanny ability to discern letter-for-letter a randomly chosen word.
Next, the audience is treated to Harlan's novel approach to a book test routine, "Reddit!" Involving many spectators and three paperback novels, the mentalist is able to receive randomly chosen words and phrases, even predicting the future by determining the book, page, and line chosen for the climax.
At this point, the audience is convinced that just about anything is possible, so this quick effect, "Newsline," serves to reinforce that idea. A folded prediction and a column of newspaper are displayed, the spectator directs the performer where to cut the column with scissors, and the line cut to matches the prediction.
Now, the audience is ready for something different and Harlan provides it with his innovative "Mind Your Hands," using ten mismatched pairs of colored gloves.
Keeping the show moving with a quick, visual piece, the mentalist introduces "Deja Voo Doo" in which a spectator is cursed and cured in the span of two minutes.
Rounding out the middle section, highlighting the versatility of the mentalist, is Harlan's "Lotto Luck," an original presentation of the Bank Night theme featuring four envelopes containing secret prizes. Although the spectators make all the decisions, the performer is left with the only envelope containing money. But, just so there are no hard feelings, each spectator opens their envelope to find a lottery ticket inside.
Moving into a more relaxed presentation which reveals something about the performer, Harlan presents his unique "Now Showing," using ticket stubs from various movies, concerts, and theatrical presentations. One of these is chosen and the bag containing the prediction unexpectedly turns out to be the prediction!
The reputation maker, "Time Capsule," is Harlan's headline prediction, a classic premise with a strong impact made entirely practical and requiring minimal preparation. The headline of any newspaper is predicted weeks, even months, in advance and revealed during the show. It's a phenomenal effect that is a natural for generating publicity.
Last, but certainly not least, is "Psy Stebbins" using the ingenious stacked deck to create a lasting impression. You can use this simple stack to instantly know what card has been chosen. It can even be done with multiple cards. And Harlan explains how to use it to generate a standing ovation.

Sean Taylor - No Fail Kid's Show Magic
Overview
Sean Taylor is best known as a mentalist but for many years, early in his career, he made a full time living from entertaining children. Sean is a dynamic, quick witted, funny and talented family entertainer. Alan Rorrison - Night and Day
Overview
Two stunning glass penetration effects that look like trick photography!
'Dark as Night' is a coin through glass that would have looked at home in 'The Matrix'. A borrowed and signed coin is touched to the bottom of a drinking glass where, in a moment of pure visual clarity, it appears to melt through! The coin appears to be suspended inside the glass itself for a brief moment before it is pushed through to its inevitable conclusion on the inside. The signed coin is now inside the glass having visually made its impossible journey through the bottom. The glass is then immediately handed out - the coin still inside - there is nothing to find!*
'Clear as Day' is a perplexing coin through glass table effect - stunning in its simplicity! You take a coin and spin it on the surface of a glass table. You stop it spinning and then slowly, rub it through the glass! The hand that catches the coin under the glass is seen empty right before the penetration. Unlike most other coin through glass table effects - you won't see any rings on Alan's fingers! This is a real world solution to an incredibly visual effect!

'Card thru Table'
A card is freely selected and signed before being placed onto the 'soft spot' of a glass table. The pack is dribbled onto the signed card. When the dribbled cards are pushed aside, underneath we find the signed selection having somehow passed through the table top! Easy, amazing, impromptu card magic at its best!
'Coin thru Hand'
A cleverly constructed sequence which allows you to pass a coin through a spectators hand! First you pass a coin through your own hand - it gets stuck but you shake it out. Then you repeat it with a spectators hand. Again it gets stuck - with both your hands unmistakably empty you give the spectators hand a shake and out pops the coin into your awaiting hand!

Among those with their ear to the ground, Alan is renowned as a creator of solid, commercial off-beat effects and is a magician who actually works his stuff in the real world. Alan used 'Clear as Day' at his residency in a night club for a number of years. The effect was specifically designed for the venue, being furnished with glass tables. After a renovation the glass tables suddenly disappeared and, still receiving requests for the 'coin thru glass' trick, Alan was forced to improvise and create the same effect without the table - 'Dark as Night' was born!
Alan's magic never fails to catch you out first time round (and second and third time round on most occasions!) and it is because he is unconstrained in his methods.
