Mentally Unstable is the first ever E-Book by Matthew Shepherd. It contains 6 effects he has been using in his close up and parlour work for the past 5 years. Effects include:
Working Nine To Five For Gilbreath – 5 spectators shuffle a deck of cards. A pile of cards are selected whilst the performers back is turned yet they are still able to call out every singe card the spectator is looking at!
X-Ray Spectator – A spectator is given the ability of x-ray vision. For the first effect they are given the ability of seeing into the arm of the performer. Finally they are given the ability to see inside their own head and to witness their own brain!
TV Magazine Test – Using a local TV Magazine and a borrowed watch, the performer is able to accurately tell the spectator what TV Show they are concentrating on! Can be used close up or on stage! No peeks or gimmicks!
ESP Predicto! – A prediction is made and a spectator shuffles a deck of ESP cards, the cards are dealt until they wish to stop. The place where they stopped is marked and the deck is assembled. The performer is now able to prove that he predicted which two cards the spectator would stop at! No sleights and 100% impromptu!
What’s My Birthday? – A spectator is asked to think of the month and the date they were born. The performer then reads their mind and writes down the exact month and date they were born!
Mind Over Mobile – An over the phone effect using cards. Easy to do and no complicated instructions!
